Edvantage is excited to host its first Virtual Holiday Partner Fair for registered members only*.

Together with our virtual platform partner REMO and over 20 Edvantage partners, we’ll answer your questions about the Edvantage program, the many brands offered, and their products and services.
Partners will provide information on specials, discounts, and limited-time offers for the holiday shopping season**.

If you are a registered member, please check your email inbox for a personalized invitation that includes your unique access link to the event.
If you are not a registered member, please register now and an email will be sent to you within 24 hours. (Don’t forget to check your junk mail folder).

Stop by our networking lounge to chat with colleagues or pop into the live entertainment lounge, where our talented musician will take requests and perform some of your favorite tunes.

PLUS, you’ll have a chance to win up to 20 partner prize giveaways valued at $150 each when you visit each partner lounge.
Partner prizes will randomly be drawn throughout the event.
At the end of the event, the Edvantage team will draw one lucky winner's name for the
GRAND PRIZE - $1,000 CAD EGift cards!**

The lucky winner can choose one, two, or three of their preferred participating Edvantage partners to shop at. Edvantage will provide the winner with EGift cards in denominations of $50, totaling $1,000.

FAQs

What if my unique link doesn’t work on the day of the event?

Email marketing@edvantage.ca and a member of the team will confirm your link is accurate and/or resend you a new link.

How do I get the full networking experience at the event?

Use a desktop or laptop computer with a webcam and microphone. it's not required but you will get the best experience!

I won’t be able to attend the full 3-hour event, but can I join anytime during the event?

You can attend anytime; join us for 15 minutes or an hour! Once an attendee leaves the event, the next member on the waitlist* can gain access/enter.
*The waitlist is created on a first come first serve basis and access to the event is provided in chronological order.

How does the waitlist work?

We’ve reserved a maximum capacity of 1,000 names for this event. If the pre-registered names do not join the event at 3 p.m., a rotation cycle will begin where we provide members from the waitlist* access to enter the event, until the maximum capacity is reached. Once an attendee leaves the event, the next member on the wait list can gain access/enter.
*The waitlist is created on a first come first serve basis and access to the event is provided in chronological order.

What do I need to know or do before I join the event?

It doesn’t matter where you join from as long as you have a Wi-Fi/Internet connection, your unique link, and an electronic device to log in. That’s the beauty of a virtual event! It is brought to you in the comfort of your home, at your desk, or wherever you prefer to log in. Everything the event offers will be at your fingertips, online using a computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile device.

I’ve pre-registered, now what?

The first 1,000 registered members to RSVP will receive an email confirmation with their unique link, followed by a reminder email 15 days, then the day before the event. You can log in anytime during the three hours*, but once you log out you will be put into a rolling window waitlist to re-enter the event.
*As a pre-registered attendee you have 30 minutes at the start of the event to enter, before we allow for any waitlist members to join, and reach our 1,000-attendee limit.

I’ve been put on the waitlist. What can I expect on event day?

If you tried to RSVP after the first 1,000 members already have, you would have been offered a place on our waitlist. If pre-registered members cancel before the event and/or during the event, you will receive a registration confirmation email. Once you receive this you will have access and may log in. Please remember, however, that once you log out of the event, you can only re-enter if you add yourself to the waitlist.

I did not receive an email invitation; however, I just registered and would like to attend. How do I get an event invitation?

Upon your registration for your Edvantage account, you will be invited via email within 24 hrs with your unique link. Don’t forget to check your junk folder.

Can I tell a friend about this event?

Yes, as long as their group participates in the Edvantage program they are eligible as long as they have a registered account. If they are not registered, encourage them to register and they will receive a personalized invitation with a unique link.

What if I change my email address before the event and no longer have access to the email address I RSVP’d with, can I access the event with the original unique link?

Your exclusive invitation and event access are linked to the email address used to RSVP. You will need that link (or a new link if you have lost the original email confirmation) to access the event. Therefore, if you need us to provide you with a link you need to email us at marketing@edvantage.ca to resend a fresh link to your new email address.

Prize giveaway eligibility details

RSVP for a chance to win one (1) of over (25) twenty-five ( “Prizes”) and a grand prize of e-gift cards valued at CAD 1,000 during the Edvantage Virtual Holiday Partner Fair on Wednesday, November 22^nd from 3 pm to 6 pm EST. Prizes are offered through Edvantage and its participating partners. Contest draws close at 6 pm on November 22, 2023. Open to all active Edvantage registered account members from the Ontario education community, at least 18 years of age, and residents of Ontario. By RSVP invitation only, the winner must be in attendance and be present when the winner’s name is drawn. No purchase is necessary. Selected contestants must correctly answer unaided, a mathematical, skill-testing question before being declared a winner.
